When a contact asks for a meeting, Vela proposes 2–3 times from your calendar, drafts the reply, and stages the calendar invite. Nothing actually books until you click Approve.
The flow
- Vela detects a booking-style message in your inbox.
- It checks your calendar for free slots over the next 5 business days.
- It drafts a reply offering 2–3 options.
- After the contact picks one, Vela drafts the actual calendar invite and adds it to the Inbox for your approval.
Defaults you can change
Settings → Bookings controls:
- Working hours (default 9am–5pm local time).
- Buffer between meetings (default 15 mins).
- Minimum notice (default 4 hours).
- Default meeting length (default 30 mins).
Time zone handling
If the contact's signature contains a city/timezone hint, Vela offers times in their local zone. Otherwise it uses your workspace default.
