Most Vela accounts have more than one person on them. You can invite teammates at any time during or after the trial.
Where to go
Settings → Team.
Send an invite
- Click Invite teammate.
- Enter their work email.
- Pick a role: Admin or Member.
- They get an email with a one-time sign-up link. The link expires after 7 days.
Roles
- Admin — full access including billing, connections, and team management.
- Member — full operational access (Inbox, Invoices, Bookings) but cannot change billing, disconnect M365/Xero, or invite people.
- Owner — the original workspace creator. Same powers as admin plus they can transfer ownership and delete the workspace. There is exactly one owner per workspace.
Removing someone
Click the … menu next to a teammate's name in the team list, then Remove. They lose access immediately and their session tokens are revoked within 60 seconds.
